How do I safely light the firepit?
We recommend using at least 70% isopropyl alcohol. Simply pour the alcohol into fuel reservoir and hold a match to it. It will light easily, and stay lit for 1-2 hours, depending on the amount of alcohol used. Do not fill more than 1" from the top.

Can I use other fuels?
We only recommend isopropyl alcohol or drinking alcohol. Gelled ethanols can spark and spread, and are not as safe.

Can I add alcohol to the fire while it's burning?
NO! Do not play with, or add anything, to the fire while it's burning. 

Will the outside get hot while it burns?
Yes, it will. You won't burn yourself if you touch it quickly and remove your hand, but the outside will get pretty hot while the fire is burning. 

How do I safely extinguish the firepit?
The firepit includes a stainless steel extinguisher. Simply place the extinguisher on top of the firepit when you no longer to wish to use the firepit, and it will instantly extinguish.

Can I use the firepit for indoors, or is it for outdoor use only?
You can use the firepit both indoors and outdoors. Its high quality concrete and stainless steel construction ensures a safe experience no matter the location. Make sure the area is well-ventilated. 

How do I clean the firepit?
Allow firepit to cool completely before cleaning. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Remove fuel reservoir and gently scrub with a soft sponge and mild detergent.

Will the firepit damage my table or counter?
No, it will not! Our firepit comes with a protective mat that will protect the surface is it resting on.
